for recruiters & human capital specialists

Your expertise. Your terms. Your rates.

Hyring connects independent recruiters, talent specialists and human capital consultants directly with the organisations that need them. Live mandates matched to your actual specialism. Payment protected by milestone. No agency taking most of your fee, and no business development grind to get in front of the client.

Free to apply and free to stay on the bench. We are selective, and that is the point.

Hyring has three sides. Companies that need hiring capability. Independent recruiters and human capital specialists who supply it. Senior professionals who want to stay visible to both.

why sign up

The five things independents tell us actually keep them awake.

Going independent solves autonomy and economics. It creates five new problems. This is what the platform does about each one.

problem one · pipeline

Feast or famine

Strong months followed by dry ones, with no way to smooth it. Business development eats the time you should be spending on delivery.

What changes: mandates come to you, matched to your specialism, with the client already engaged and the commercials already agreed.
problem two · access

No brand behind you

Breaking into a corporate or government client without an agency name or a marketing budget is close to impossible, however good you are.

What changes: you work with clients who came to Hyring, including enterprise and government, without pitching cold.
problem three · economics

The split is backwards

You build the relationship, run the search, close the hire, and the agency keeps most of the fee. That maths never made sense to anyone doing the work.

What changes: you keep the majority of what you earn. Hyring takes a transparent platform margin on completed work.
problem four · getting paid

Chasing invoices

The single worst part of independent work. Thirty days becomes ninety, and you have no leverage and no legal budget.

What changes: milestone payments released on client approval through the platform. You are not chasing anyone.
problem five · overheads

You are also the back office

Contracts, invoicing, compliance, tooling and admin all land on you, unpaid, on top of the work that actually earns.

What changes: contracting, milestone tracking and payment handled through the platform, so you deliver rather than administrate.
and the compounding one

Your record follows you

Every completed assignment builds a verified track record on the platform: outcomes, client ratings, sector depth. Reputation you own, evidenced rather than asserted.

What changes: the better you deliver, the better the mandates you are matched to.

the commercial deal, plainly

What it costs you, and what you keep.

We would rather be blunt about this than make you dig for it in a contract.

how to sign up

Four steps. Done properly, not quickly.

We are deliberately selective, because the entire proposition to clients rests on the bench being genuinely vetted rather than merely large. That means the process takes longer than clicking a button, and it should.

01

Download the app

Start here. The app is live on iOS and Android. Everything on the supply side happens in it: registering, receiving matched briefs, running live assignments, submitting milestones and getting paid.
Download on the App Store · Get it on Google Play

02

Register

In the app. Tell us your discipline, markets, sectors and the working models you offer. We are looking for depth in something specific rather than breadth across everything.

03

Verification

A structured online screening assessment in the specialism you are applying under. It is not a formality and not everyone clears it. We do not ask you for references.

04

A conversation, then live

A senior person at Hyring speaks to you properly, about how you actually work and what you are genuinely good at. They make the final call. Once approved you complete your profile, set your availability and rates, and matched briefs start arriving.

who needs the app

Human capital specialists and job seekers work in the app. Companies never touch it. Firms post briefs, review shortlists, approve milestones and pay entirely on the web, with no download and no account setup. We keep the app on the supply side deliberately, and out of the way of a buyer.

what to expect

An honest picture of what happens next.

We would rather set the expectation correctly than have you join, hear nothing for a while, and conclude the platform is empty. We deliberately do not put timings on any of this, because they would depend on your discipline and your market rather than on us.

first

Verification, then live

Your screening result and your interview with us. Once approved, you build your profile in the app: specialisms, markets, sectors, working models, availability and rates.

then

First matched briefs

Briefs arrive when your specialism matches live demand, and that depends entirely on your discipline rather than on how long you have been listed. A cybersecurity recruiter in Abu Dhabi will see volume that a niche specialist in a quieter market will not. We will tell you honestly where your specialism sits rather than quote you a waiting time.

first assignment onward

Record starts building

Outcomes and client ratings attach to your profile from the first completed assignment, and the strength of the mandates you are matched to follows from that. Early delivery matters more than early volume.

Two things we will not do. We will not tell you the bench is a guaranteed pipeline, because demand is real but uneven across disciplines. And we will not keep you listed if you under-deliver, because the client promise depends on it. Both of those cut in your favour if you are good at what you do.

what we ask of you

The bar, stated openly.

This doubles as the quality signal to clients reading this page, which is exactly why it is published rather than kept internal.

experience

Genuine depth

At least one year in your stated discipline, with delivery you can evidence. The bar is depth in something specific rather than length of service, and clients ask for junior and intern-level support as often as they ask for twenty years.

screening

Named clients

A structured online assessment inside your stated specialism, before anyone at Hyring spends time on your application.

specialism

Verified track record

Evidence of results inside the specialism you claim. A generalist positioning as a sector expert is the problem we exist to solve.

conduct

Standards you sign

Confidentiality, data handling and conduct terms agreed as a condition of joining, plus responsiveness once you accept a brief.

specialist questions

Frequently asked

What does it cost to join the bench?

Nothing. It is free to apply and free to remain listed. Hyring takes a transparent platform margin on completed work only, and you keep the majority of what you earn. There is no listing fee, no subscription and no charge for receiving briefs.

Do I have to work exclusively through Hyring?

No, and we would not want that. Keep your own direct clients, work through other channels, and take Hyring briefs when they suit you. You choose which briefs to accept, brief by brief. There is no exclusivity and no non-compete.

How do I get paid, and when?

Hyring collects the money from the client and holds it, and pays you monthly against approved milestones. Work is broken into agreed milestones or billing periods, the client approves each one in their portal, and your payment is released in the monthly run against those approvals. You never chase the client, we do, and you are not exposed to a client stretching thirty days into ninety, because the funds are already with us.

How long does the application take?

Downloading the app and applying takes about ten minutes. After that it depends on the screening assessment and on getting you in front of a senior person at Hyring, who interviews you and makes the final call. We will not give you a date, because we would rather be honest than hit a number. It is slower than a sign-up form, and the client promise depends on it being slower.

How quickly will I get my first brief?

Honestly, it depends on your discipline and market rather than on you. Specialists in disciplines with high live demand, such as cybersecurity or technology recruitment in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, typically see matched briefs within weeks. Niche specialisms in thinner markets take longer. We will tell you where your specialism sits during your conversation rather than letting you find out through silence.

Do I need the app?

Yes. Human capital specialists work through the Hyring app, which is where you receive matched briefs, manage live assignments, submit milestones and get paid. It is free. Companies posting briefs do not need the app and work entirely on the web.

What kinds of clients are on the platform?

Start-ups and scale-ups making first or fast hires, family businesses and family offices building a people function, corporates and private equity portfolio companies needing surge or specialist capacity, and government entities and industry bodies with nationalisation and compliance mandates. Concentrated in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider GCC, with work into more than 50 countries.

I am not a recruiter. I do HR, coaching, organisation design or employer brand work. Is there demand?

Yes, and it is the part of the bench clients most often cannot source elsewhere. Most organisations have a route to recruiters and no route at all to a fractional CHRO, an employee relations specialist for a live case, or an HR partner to build a function. If that is your discipline, you are exactly who we are short of.

What happens if an assignment goes wrong?

Tell us early. Assignments are structured in milestones rather than a single contingent fee, so an engagement that is not working can be unwound without either side losing everything. If the fault sits with the client's brief or process rather than your delivery, we will say so to them. If it sits with delivery, we will say so to you.
