Membership Terms of Service
Subscriber Agreement
Effective Date: 04/05/2026 · Version 1.0
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hyring AI platform, website, and mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Hyring AI Limited, a company incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”), Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Hyring”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account, subscribing to a membership tier, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you (“Member”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.
2. What Hyring Is — And What It Is Not
2.1 Nature of Service
Hyring is an AI-native career intelligence and professional membership network. The Platform connects senior professionals with vetted elite recruiters and their clients, providing career visibility, role matching, market intelligence, and access to a professional community.
2.2 Hyring is NOT a Recruitment Agency
This is an important distinction. Please read carefully.
Hyring is not a recruitment agency, employment agency, staffing firm, or job
placement service. Specifically:
- Hyring does not guarantee employment, job placement, or interview outcomes
- Hyring does not act as an intermediary in the legal sense between employer and candidate for the purposes of any applicable employment agency legislation
- Your subscription fee is for access to the Platform, career intelligence tools, community features, and recruiter visibility — not for a job placement service
- No placement fee, success fee, or commission is charged to Members at any point
2.3 Legality of Membership Fees
Membership fees are charged for access to platform services and features, not for the act of finding you employment. This distinction is recognised under applicable law in the UAE and in most global jurisdictions. Members in jurisdictions where any aspect of these fees may be regulated should seek independent legal advice.
In the European Union, the UK, and most common law jurisdictions, charging consumers for career platform access, professional networking, and career intelligence services is entirely lawful.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or subscribe to the Platform.
3.2 Professional Use
The Platform is designed for senior professionals and those in the recruitment industry. By subscribing, you represent that you are using the Platform for professional, career-related purposes.
3.3 Accuracy of Information
You represent that all information provided during registration and profile creation is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information at all times.
4. Membership Tiers and Subscription Terms
4.1 Available Tiers
Premium Membership — $50 per month ($600 per year)
Includes: verified profile discoverable by elite recruiters globally;
AI-powered role matching across global markets; job opportunity alerts before
public board release; quarterly MENA and global salary benchmark data;
access to Hyring’s career intelligence library; Actively Looking
toggle (private and discreet).
Platinum Membership — $150 per month ($1,800 per
year)
Includes everything in Professional, plus: named recruiter introductions;
priority role alerts; personal CV and profile review with 48-hour written
turnaround; access to the private Executive WhatsApp community (capped
globally); monthly group career mentorship call (maximum 12 members per
call); discounted one-to-one coaching sessions.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis from the date of initial subscription. Payment is processed via our third-party payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis until cancellation. All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD).
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting support@hyring.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
4.4 Refund Policy
Unless otherwise required by law in your jurisdiction, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. If you believe a charge has been made in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at support@hyring.ai.
EU and UK Members: If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under applicable consumer protection law. By expressly requesting that we begin providing the service immediately upon subscription, you acknowledge that any right of withdrawal may be lost once the service has commenced.
4.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ written notice to your registered email address. Continued use of the Platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.
4.6 Free Trials and Promotional Offers
Where a free trial or promotional offer is provided, it will be subject to the specific terms stated at the time of offer. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription will convert to a paid membership at the applicable rate.
5. Use of Artificial Intelligence
5.1 AI Features on the Platform
The Platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies for several purposes, including:
- Semantic role matching: Our AI analyses your profile, career history, skills, and stated preferences to match you with relevant opportunities and recruiter introductions — going beyond keyword matching to assess career context and transferable skills
- Generative AI co-pilot: AI tools assist recruiters on the Platform with outreach drafting, shortlisting support, and candidate communication
- Career intelligence: AI is used to aggregate and surface market intelligence, salary benchmarking, and career trend data relevant to your profile and sector
5.2 AI-Assisted Decision Making — Important Disclosure
Some matching and visibility decisions on the Platform involve automated processing of your personal data, including determining which recruiter searches your profile appears in and the priority of role alerts sent to you.
You have the right to request human review of any AI-assisted decision that significantly affects you. To exercise this right, contact letsgo@hyring.ai.
We do not make binding hiring decisions. All recruitment decisions are made by the recruiting organisations and their representatives, who are separate entities from Hyring.
5.3 EU AI Act Compliance
For Members accessing the Platform from within the European Union, we note the following in the context of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689):
- Hyring’s AI matching and ranking functionality operates as a tool to enhance professional visibility and facilitate introductions — designed to augment human recruiter judgment, not replace it
- We do not operate an AI system that makes autonomous employment decisions. Recruiters retain full discretion over candidate selection, shortlisting, and hiring recommendations
- We classify our AI features as limited risk under the EU AI Act framework and provide transparency to Members about when AI is involved in processing their data
- We are committed to monitoring regulatory developments under the EU AI Act and updating our systems and documentation accordingly
- Technical documentation is available upon written request to legal@hyring.ai for data controllers conducting compliance assessments
5.4 AI Limitations
AI-generated matches, introductions, and recommendations are probabilistic in nature. They are not guarantees of suitability, employability, or outcome. We make no warranty that AI-assisted features will produce accurate, complete, or commercially useful results in every instance.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
6.1 Governing Law — Data Protection
Hyring AI Limited is incorporated in the DIFC, Dubai, UAE, and is subject to the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020 (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020). Where Members are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data in compliance with the EU GDPR 2016/679, the UK GDPR, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) respectively, to the extent applicable.
6.2 What Data We Collect
- Identity and contact data (name, email address, phone number, location)
- Professional profile data (CV, work history, skills, qualifications, career preferences)
- Usage data (interactions with the Platform, features accessed, search behaviour)
- Payment data (processed by our third-party payment provider — we do not store card details)
- Communications between Members and recruiters facilitated through the Platform
- Device and technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers)
6.3 How We Use Your Data
Your personal data is used to: provide and operate the Platform; deliver AI-powered matching and career intelligence features; facilitate introductions between Members and recruiters; process payments; comply with legal obligations; and improve Platform functionality.
6.4 Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK GDPR)
- Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the subscription service you have purchased
- Legitimate interests — platform security, fraud prevention, and service improvement
- Consent — marketing communications and optional features requiring your opt-in
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law
6.5 International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the UAE. Where data originates from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland and is transferred internationally, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission, and DIFC-to-third-country transfer mechanisms under DIFC Data Protection Law 2020. A copy of our transfer safeguards is available upon request at privacy@hyring.ai.
6.6 Subprocessors
We use a limited number of third-party subprocessors to operate the Platform, including for cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI model APIs, and analytics. A current list of subprocessors is available upon written request. We will notify you of any material changes to our subprocessor list with at least 30 days’ notice where required.
6.7 Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a period of up to 36 months thereafter, unless a longer retention period is required by law or legitimate business purposes. Profile and CV data may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form for analytics purposes indefinitely.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@hyring.ai or using the data deletion feature in the Platform. We will fulfil deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
6.8 Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; data portability; object to processing; and not be subject to solely automated decision-making with significant effects. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@hyring.ai.
6.9 Data Processing Agreement
Enterprise clients and B2B partners who require a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with Article 28 of the EU GDPR or equivalent legislation may request our standard DPA by contacting legal@hyring.ai.
7. Platform Rules and Acceptable Use
7.1 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information
- Use the Platform to solicit other Members for purposes unrelated to legitimate professional networking or recruitment
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform by automated means
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any Platform functionality or AI system
- Use the Platform to harass, discriminate against, or harm any individual
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any Platform security or access control measures
- Share your account credentials with any third party
7.2 Recruiter and Company Conduct
Recruiters and companies accessing the Platform agree to comply with all applicable employment, data protection, and equal opportunity laws in their jurisdictions. Hyring does not endorse and is not responsible for the conduct of third-party recruiters or employers on the Platform.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our IP
All content, technology, trademarks, and materials on the Platform — including AI systems, matching algorithms, design, and brand assets — are owned by or licensed to Hyring AI Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.
8.2 Your Content
By uploading your profile, CV, or other content to the Platform, you grant Hyring a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, and process that content solely for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform. You retain ownership of your content. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 No Employment Guarantee
Hyring makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that use of the Platform will result in employment, job interviews, recruiter engagement, salary increases, or any other specific career outcome.
9.2 Platform Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform. We reserve the right to suspend or modify the Platform for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
9.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hyring’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at legal@hyring.ai to seek an informal resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts, Dubai, UAE, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
EU and UK Members: Nothing in this clause affects your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence, or to benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your jurisdiction.
11. General Provisions
11.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hyring in relation to the Platform.
11.2 Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance.
11.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11.4 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
